NaNoWriMo 2

well, this is my second post about NaNoWriMo. yay.

well, so far, i now have TWO stinkin ideas for NaNoWriMo '09. yay. i need to choose one, so i can just write the other as a normal story. Comment and tell me which one you like better.

Underestimate:

Natalia "Tally" Barker and Alexandra "Alex" Cooper seem like your everyday ordinary teenage BFFs. They go to school, the gossip, they eat lunch together, and they hang out whenever they can. They have sleepovers, they laugh together, they're the average teenage best friends.

Tally is the geek- a genius. she belongs in college, but she decided to stay back in high school. She's currently in 10th grade, honors, and is most likely to be valedictorian of her class. She's not considered that "popular," but she's definitely noticed, being the smartest in her grade and the best friend of the most popular girl in the school.

Alex is the athlete, the head cheerleader, and she can beat almost anyone in a fight. She's also the "it" girl in her school, being the most popular. She's in shape, pretty, and deceitful- a dangerous combination.

Their lifes are normal- for a while. Tally's on her laptop constantly, researching and creating all kinds of programs, and helping Alex with her school work. Alex goes to events, parties, and hangs out with her current boyfriend, who she's considering on dumping. But when a secret association gets a hold of them, things.... change.

Suddenly they're thrown into a world of danger, excitement, betrayal, and a lot more. They need each other for support and help; they can't survive without the other. But when Alex and Tally each meet a mysterious boy, they realized that they have underestimated the enemy. or rather, the ally.

Disease:

Fourteen year old Aubrey Jones's life is simple. Go to school, hang out with friends, go home, eat, homework, sleep. Little does she know, she's been infected: bitten by one of the creatures from Satan's realm. Slowly, she's being consumed by the darkness, and if it goes unnoticed, Her soul will be consumed, leaving her body to be one of Satan's minions.

Gabriel Monroe turns fifteen in one month. He's barely noticed, but recently, he's been noticing strange things lurking around, sensing darkness. He feels like something is following him, but when he turns around, he can't see anything, but he feels them being swept away. One day he gets a strange message explaining everything to him, showing him the reason for his sensings.

Their paths cross, and they slowly fall in love. but when Aubrey is taken captive in Satan's realm, Gabriel realizes that he's the only one who can save her, and why.

honestly, even though I have a lot of it, sugar does NOTHING for me. o.o I may say i need it to survive(which I do, with all the sugar levels and stuffz) it really doesn't do anything for me. neither does caffeine. I mean, I could have an entire cup of bubble tea in the morning (I don't like coffee o.o) but I'd still be as tired as ever. And by the way, I love bubble tea. :) i just don't like the bubbles. xD

life as we know it...

life as we know it. actually, as I know it. the life of the average person is that they go to school, graduate with an average of a C or a B (meh thinks.... o.o) and get into an okay college and get a degree in four years, get outta college, get a job, get married, have some kids, work a lot, grow old, then die, to put it simply. But I seriously wish sometimes that Life as we know it is changed dramatically in some way, which is how my 6th grade english (IRLA(i forgot what that stood for... o.o)) teacher defined the genre of science fiction. honestly, now that I think of it, a lot of books that I thought were fantasy are actually Sci-Fi. lol. xD

My nanowrimo idea might be sci-fi, but right now i'm not sure. xD I LOVE SCI-FI BOOKS!!!

I'm obsessed with Gmail Chat cuz I LOVE to instant message. I mean, who doesn't love to IM?? <3333

Goodreads is just... awesome! i can record my reading, discuss books, Chat, and the unexpected feature: Roleplay!! xD not only that, I can read stories people post, post my own stories, and add quotes by authors and people. xD

Youtube, I just <3.>

Dragon cave... well, you guys should know. xD its just so cool in its own way, since you breed dragons, hatch dragons, etc. :o)

I LOVE PERCY JACKSON!!! Nuff said.

Howl's moving castle is my absolute fav Studio Ghibli film. its so sweet and magical, and so cool and emotional. The thing is, I'm talking about the movie. Honestly, the movie was much better than the book. o.o

I use the computer a lot and its fun. Nuff said. xD

I love music. what else do you need?

I really can't wait to start my first year of Nanowrimo!!! it seems like a lot of fun, and I really want to succeed!!

School

EEEwwww.... okay, so not really. School is Awesome!!! sorta. xD well, school is a place to learn and prepare for your future so your future will be all sunny and bright and happy and all that other random optimistic stuff. School itself is not bright and sunny and all that other random optimistic stuff.

First of all, there's homework. What's the deal with homework? THERES TOO MUCH. Everyday different teachers pile you with tons and tons of homework. This past year in middle school I missed tons of homeworks and brought my science grade don to a C. A C. I'm amazed my mom hasn't killed me. I'm the worst at math in my family, but I still got into honors for Pre-Algebra in math. hoorays!!! xD

Second of all, rank. Okay, what is ranking? I mean rank as in popularity. I'm not one of those people with tons of friends, cool phones, and all that other cool stuff. Half the time, I don't even have anyone to talk to. :( i don't even really have a best friend. *sniffle* I do have a group of pretty good friends, but only one of them were on my team this year. :( I envy all those popular people. bleh. ><

um, I could go on, but I'll just add more to this later. xD

NaNoWriMo!!!!!!!xD

for those of you who have NO idea what i'm talking about when I say NaNoWriMo, I'm talking about National Novel Writing Month!!! a.k.a. November. It may be 3 months away, but I've started brainstorming- thinking. Usually I come up with nothing, but I think I have a pretty good one so far. Before I used to just read the stories (there's only one I actually finished cuz I loved it- Injection by Brigid GH) but this year I'm participating!!! I'm mainly doing it for fun, but if I manage to write a at least 50,000 word (about 175 page) novel from the start to the finish of November, then I might consider publishing it. Probably not, though. xD

It's also possible that I'll abandon my story in the middle of November, but hey- I shouldn't quit. I'm still thinking.... and thinking.... and thinking.... and thinking.... all I have is the main idea and the two main characters.

Stalkers

When I say stalkers ,I'm not (usually) talking about those people who follow you everywhere, know everything about you, and hack into your stuff on the internet to get all the information about you. I'm talking about those annoying people who follow you around everywhere, think they're your friend, and keep talking to you when you just want them to GO AWAY. Yes. I'm talking about those people.

Not that's there's anything WRONG with them, its just that they're SO annoying that you don't want to talk to them, say hi to them, much less sit next to them in class or something like that. I know one stalker kind of person. ((hint- her name starts with an "A")) At first she was okay, she seemed like a normal person. I had never seen her before. But after a week or so, she got SO annoying. She said hi to me when I wanted her to go away, and she started talking when she's sitting nearby and everyone's quiet. I like it quiet. GAH. she starts talking about the STRANGEST things. Sometimes I could be mean to her, but that would mean hurting her feelings. But I'd rather have her hate me than have her think I was one of her best friends. One of my very good friends is just sorta impulsive, so she had no problem being mean to her. But I'm not like that. Oh, I may be impulsive, but I do think before I say something. sometimes. Okay, I don't, but there are very rare moments when I do. there. Hmph.

I wish I didn't know so many stalkers. ><

Dragon Cave

What is so addicting about this website? you get a few eggs, make them hatch, have them grow up. that's it. Well, I'm pretty much officially addicted. Everyday, I go onto my account and add as many views as I can by refreshing the page and hope they'll hatch or grow up. I'm constantly trying to get the rare eggs, like the silver, gold, and dino. I swore to myself that I would never kill an egg or hatchling or let one die.

But why am I so addicted?

Maybe it's because there's so many awesome breeds of dragons. Maybe it's because it's cool to watch them grow up. Maybe its because they're so cool. Well, whatever it is, It's got me addicted, but not my friends. I think they might have once liked it, but if you ask me, now they're sick of it. I don't why, but I don't care too much. I'm still marveling at the chicken (don't ask) and the Cheese dragon!!! xD

Greek Mythology

I don't get Greek Mythology. Well, okay, I do, and I like it a lot, I think its interesting, I just don't get why there's so many different versions of things. For example- Hercules. This is the name you know and love, thanks to Disney's ridiculous movie. Actually, this is the Roman name. The Greek version is Heracles (He-rah-cleez). According to some sources, Zeus, Heracles's father, named him that so his immortal wife, Hera, wouldn't be so mad at him for having an affair with a mortal. That didn't work. Another example is how Aphrodite was born. Some just say she was the daughter of Zeus and Hera, but the more common version is that she was created when Uranus's genitals fell into the sea and she emerged on a shell from the sea foam (gross, huh?). I could go on and on, like if Hera or Zeus threw Hephaestus off Mount Olympus, but the one that bothers me the most is the story of Arachne and Athena. I'm STILL not sure what happened. Did Arachne win or Athena? What did they actually weave? The only thing I'm sure of is that Arachne was turned into a spider. That's it. Hmph.

GAH. it's so confusing at times. ><

Weird....

I have the weirdest mind.

Okay, maybe not the weirdest. But I definitely have one weird mind. I have the strangest thoughts and i'm pretty emotional. I wouldn't say I'm emo though- I laugh WAY too much. XD But really, everyone's weird in their own little way. My friend Karen interrupts people and doesn't listen to people when she's reading. My friend Danielle is a very happy random person, and that's fine, but she can get very pissed from a little thing (like when her keyboard's not working right). My friend Deborah is just... weird, as in she thinks of the weirdest things and does the weirdest stuff. Lastly, My "friend" Ivonne talks WAY too much when you want her to go away, says the weirdest things, and thinks I'm her bebst friend even though I seriously just want her to leave me alone. I know too many people like that, and that's bad enough. I'd be worse if I knew more. *shudders* Where was I? oh yeah. Well anyway, everybody HAS to be weird in some kind of way. Like those people who doen't seem weird in any possible way are weird because they're not weird. he he, Paradox!! xD anyway, weirdness is unavoidable- whether you're weird in a big way, or a small way.

Percy Jackson

If you didn't know, I am totally obsessed with the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. They are so awesome and action packed, and lots of funny parts mixed in with Greek Mythology. Recently, Chris Columbus, is directing the movie of the first Percy Jackson book, The Lightning Thief. Of course I'm gonna watch it, its just that.... the choices for the actors STINK. They STINK. For example, the worst choice of all of them is Annabeth Chase. In the first book, Annabeth is 12 years old, stormy gray eyes, curly blond hair, with a nice tan. She's also taller than the main character, Percy. The thing is, out of all the curly haired blond actresses, they had to choose Alexandra Daddario. She's 19, straight haired brunette, and she's pretty plae if you ask me. The only thing she has is the gray eyes, but anyone can have gray eyes. USE CONTACTS. Anyway, the only actor who doesn't REALLY stink, is Jake Abel, who plays Luke. He doesn't stink because he actually looks like his character!! So I'd like to see Chris Columbus to deliver a punch in the face for making my favorite book, stink. THe movie comes out next year, but I'm only going to see it to confirm what I already know- IT STINKS.

so far so BORING

How is my summer?? hm.... IT STINKS!!!! normally I have summer camp or summer school, but not this year. instead, I have to stay home every single stinking day, trying to find something to do, and rotting my eyes from staring at the computer and TV all day. NOT fun. more like BORING. I wanted to go tubing on the Delaware river tubing place, but we need more people to take along. I have a pool in my backyard, but it's so boring to swim by yourself. Instead, I spend a lot of the days wasting my time on facebook and goodreads and dragon cave, because I'm not going to anyone's house. I'm not going to anyone's house because they're nobody's house to go to because a lot of my friends are busy this summer. -_- gah. The main things that keep my from baking outside is water, air conditioning, and ice skating cuz i'm an ice skater. I don't know how soccer players and all those other people who play sports outside survive. So far, I survived June and July. Maybe I can survive August too. This week, I started crocheting stuff again. Maybe I should do that in the winter, but *shrug* oh well. it gives me something to do. *sigh* I made a cool fingerless glove and its warm and everything, but, its summer. it was stupid of me. ><
